Buyenzi is a place full of talent, energy, and dreams. For many years, this community has produced great football players who have gone on to represent Burundi and play internationally in Europe, such as Saido Berahino,,Nahayo Valery, Banza Hussein,Saidi Ntibazonkiza, and Youssouf Ndayishimiye of OGC Nice(in France).etc..
However, many young people in our community grow up without enough opportunities, activities, or guidance. When youth lack positive environments, they can easily be influenced by negative paths..
Inspired by this legacy, the academy aims to create a structured environment where young players from the community can develop their football skills while learning discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.
The project initially focuses on supporting around 30+ young players, providing them with training, mentorship, and proper equipment so they can grow both on and off the field.
The vision of Buyenzi United Football Academy is to continue the tradition of producing talented footballers from Buyenzi while giving young people positive opportunities and guidance for their future.
